In a startling move, Boy-Nett announced on June 1, 2000, that he was coming out of retirement. This time, however, he'd not be content with being behind the scenes -- this time, he would be the front man of his own band! Rumor has it that his motives are based in his deep spirituality (he's been a seriously practicing Zen-Gangsta-Catholic since his tumultuous 3 months in rehab): he wants to spread the Word to the masses.

Ever the innovator, Boy-Nett appears to have really topped himself. His new band, the Celestial Choir, is believed to be the first Christian gangsta-rap group to score a deal with a major label, and he's reportedly the first guest to utter the phrase "ass-monkey" on the 700 Club interview couch! (that interview airs next month)

Still loyal to his old fans and band-mates, Boy-Nett has graciously given us a sneak peek at the cover of his new CD, available at better record stores across Tibet this summer (the release coincides with his summer 2000 "Let's Fuck These Monks Up Wit' God" tour of Tibet and Nepal -- a US release will follow).
