Shannon Visits the Grocery Store
an engaging photo-essay

by david    June 3, 2002

I love my wife. I also love my digital camera. And my PowerBook. And Clark Schpiell Productions. But not as much as I love my wife. Okay, maybe the PowerBook. I've spent many moons trying to devise a way to combine the four of them. As you might imagine, Shannon objected to most of those ideas. Until now.*

What follows is the first of several photo-essays through which I will attempt to unfold the complex, lovely and sometimes terrifying being that is Shannon, my wife. Behold, "Shannon Visits the Grocery Store!"

"Okay. so I really bought grapes. They're like wine before it grows up, right? Oh, who am I kidding -- I'm not tough. I'm delicate like a flower: soft and complex and brightly colored. Except today, because I'm wearing a black t-shirt."

end.
